The North Slocan Trails Society (NSTS) is a non-profit society dedicated to the advocacy for and maintenance and building of local non-motorised trails in a management partnership with Recreation Sites & Trails BC (RSTBC). We also built and maintain the New Denver All Wheels Park alongside Carpenter Creek in partnership with the Village of New Denver.
The trails we manage include Butter, the K&S Rail Trail, Spine, the Telegraph Trail, Rolling Thunder, the Wakefield Trail and Butter Me Up.
In the winter, we track-set the K&S rail trail and Cody Spur for cross-country skiers and maintain the warming shelter in the replica K&S Station. The ski can be either an out and back or a loop if combined with the Cody Spur. To ski the trail, start from the warming shelter in Sandon.
www.trailforks.com is the best up-to-date map resource for these and other local trails.
